Modern people spend 8 to 12 hours on average, mostly at work. Office workers spend a larger proportion of their time sitting in their chairs at work. Since it is difficult to modify working times or environment, a solution is needed. The ‘sitting posture’ actually puts about 1.5 times the load on the spine than the standing posture. The World Health Organization (WHO) recently called such symptom of pain the “Sitting disease.” Such wrong postures cause symptoms such as neck pain, stiffness in the shoulder, waist disc, and so on. It is likely that as the pain persists, stress will interfere with the daily life.

The pressure sensor in the form of an air pack (bmp180) located on the seat recognizes if the pressure of specific regions are higher than others. Until the pressure value returns to its original state, the chair attempts to correct the bad posture.

The user can quickly recognize his / her posture and check the status through scored data. By analyzing the posture pattern, the position can be known and the posture can be confirmed and corrected in real time through the instructions according to the analyzed posture.
