MCD

<Medical Chilling Device (MCD)>

  • Current cooling systems such as a conventional air cooling system and an ice pack system are inappropriate for chilling cell tissues in vitro because of inconvenience in use and in consistent temperature sustainability caused by large size and progressive melting.

  • The Medical Chilling Device (MCD) is for hypothermic hydration graft storage based on thermos-hydrodynamic modeling and thermal electric cooling technology.

  • The validated performance of the MCD promises future development of an optimal hypothermic hydration graft storage system designed for clinical use.

  • For the consistent temperature sustainability, the current applied to the TEC changes depending on the difference between the measured temperature and the target temperature.

  • The display shows a real time temperature and a target temperature
